Instead of raising the minimum wage to $12 per hour by 2022, the new law amending the ballot initiative gradually increased the state’s minimum wage until it reached $12.05 by 2030. The new rates for the national minimum wage and the national living wage are set out below and are increasing on 1 april 2025.
